Bacon Around the Bend – 5K Run/Walk
RUN FOR BACON! Join the Family Justice Center on June 20 for the third annual Bacon Around the Bend 5k! Participants will complete this 5k piggy pilgrimage while feasting on savory strips of meat-candy. Whether you run, walk, skip, and crawl, finishers will celebrate their achievement with post-race bacon-themed snacks. Running Wild is a spirited FUNd-raising run and walk through the trails and paved roads of St. Patrick's County Park. The event benefits St. Joseph County Parks. Help raise funds for park projects, including school scholarships. Dogs on leashes are welcome for the family fun walk which also has a nature scavenger hunt. Race start 5K & 3K—9am.

Lory's Place organizers have a new date and instead of spring newness, look forward to a beautiful fall morning to come together to celebrate the mission of Lory’s Place. All events begin and end at Lory’s Place. The course will take runners and walkers through the Edgewater Development.
